Dhirendra Nath Roy was an Indian entomologist and physician who specialized in medical entomology.

Roy received a M.B. in 1918 with honours in medicine, a D.T.M. in 1922 and an MD in 1933 from Calcutta University. Fro 1922 to 1939 he served as an assistant professor of entomology at the school of tropical medicine. He received a D.Sc. in 1948 in medical entomology. A Rockfeller Foundation award allowed him to travel to the University of Cambridge, and around Europe between 1934 and 1936.
