Sima Lev is a molecular cell biologist professor at the Weizmann Institute of Science. She is an expert in cell signaling and membrane trafficking. Her research interest began over 20 years ago during her postdoctoral training at New York University Medical Center and California-based SUGEN, Inc. Cell signaling and membrane trafficking have been Prof. Lev’s primary research interests for many years and most recently, Sima Lev has been focusing on understanding the biology of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) in the hope to find treatments that can prevent the progression of this cancer.
