[edit]As far as I am concerned there is no place for this rhetorical technique in Wikipedia or, in fact, anywhere. Scripture is ONLY a valid source for what scripture says and nothing else. Nothing, full stop. Interpreting scripture to refer to anything other than the liteal statements contained within scripture will always constitute a WP:SYNTH violation IMO and will be treated accordingly.
