I am a retired chef, author, and educator of Icelandic Canadian descent. I speak English, French and a fair bit of Cantonese.

I spent many years in Montréal engaged in the culinary arts including the craft-production of ale and lager for commercial sale. My home for the last decade has been in the heart of Vancouver's historic Chinatown where I deliver educational programming for the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden.
