So, you are bored or mad enough to find my user page. Great! Please leave bribes, barbs, or blatherings on my talk page. I'm reasonably good at answering queries.

To satisfy your curiosity, I am a retired U.S. Department of Treasury Special Agent (Series 1811 criminal investigator) who graduated from FSU in the 1970s. I love history and gathering facts. I work at being objective and fair in my occasionally clunky edits. I have found editing is a learned skill that improves with practice, feedback, and reflection.

Some 17 years ago (it seems like a long time, but it is just a flash of life), I looked up the FSU article on Wikipedia and found it woefully inaccurate and frequently vandalized. From then on, I worked to add accuracy and an excellent history to my alma mater. As time permits, I want to dig deeper and improve this area's entire series of articles. I am convinced that passionate amateur researchers can add substantial value to Wikipedia, an online effort I have observed that has become of increasing quality - one byte at a time.
