Steve Klusmeyer in 2020

Steve Klusmeyer lives in Oklahoma City, OK. He retired in 2017 from Crossings Community Church where he worked in Communications for 13 years. Steve and Brenda were married for 42 years before her death in 2016. They have one son, Caleb and two grandsons—Cade and Raymond.

"Blessed to Bless, based on Genesis 12:1-3, is my life motto. Brenda and I worked together as a team in church ministry, primarily as children's pastors but you name it, we probably did it."

Steve also worked as a route salesman for 25 years (7-Up/Dr Pepper/RC Cola, Hostess Cake, and Frito Lay). Since retiring, Steve down-sized and purchased a 5th-wheel RV that he lives in. He loves to travel when possible—something he and Brenda always wanted to do. He's made a few memorable trips, including summer basketball camps with his grandson and two trips with his son in 2017—first, to Columbus for the OU/Ohio State football game in The Horseshoe; and second, to Dallas for the OU/Texas football game in the Cotton Bowl. In 2018, Steve reconnected with his high school sweetheart Sharla at their 50th reunion. They are currently engaged to be married.

Steve enjoys writing—especially short stories about his life experiences to illustrate qualities and ideals sought after by many in the world today.
