Symon G. Ogeto (born May 18) serves as the Group CEO of SEED Group, Inc. [1], a Chicago-based corporation which specializes on international travel to East Africa and also offers a range of local media services.

Before to transitioning to Seed Group in July 2012, Ogeto had spent six years working at The University of Chicago [2]. Prior to joining the University of Chicago in January 2006, Ogeto worked at Columbia College Chicago [3] for seven years.

Ogeto, who originally hails from Kenya, holds Masters in Arts, Entertainment and Media Management and Bachelors in Marketing from Columbia College Chicago. Also, he holds an associate diploma in tour guiding, tourism management and administration from Kenya Utalii College (Nairobi, Kenya).

Ogeto has been residing in Chicago, Illinois since 1994 when he relocated from Nairobi, Kenya in pursuit of his further studies. In 2001, he married Sarah J. Ogeto. They both have a daughter - Isabella Kerubo, born on January 27, 2008 and son - Samuel Swanya, born on August 9, 2010.
