Hello!

I started editing online wikis - not specifically Wikipedia, but on a site that uses the same MediaWiki programming language - in 2011. I don't want to date myself, but I'll let you know I was perhaps a bit too young at the time. As I grew older, I gradually lost interest when the rest of the web and wikis became gradually more commercialized, but had my passion reignited when I started contributing to music databases and the Internet Archive.

I have since landed jobs as a real-life librarian! When my colleagues tell old stories about how they fell in love with information and knowledge by visiting their local library in their youths, I have my own story of how I spent my youth reading and aspiring to edit Wikipedia.
