Kirielle Gnanawimala Nayaka Thera
කිරිඇල්ලේ ඤාණවිමල නාහිමි.
Our nayaka thera was born on 14th November 1908 in Kiri-Ella. His father was Roopasinha Jayawardhana Muhamdiramlage Dhon Ebraham Ralahami and his name was Roopasinha Mudiyanselage Dingiribandara.
He studied primary education in kiri-ella village school and became a buddhist monk under Ven. Marapana Medhankara and Ven.Marapana Siri Sumana in 14th years old as Kiri-Elle Gnanawimala(Nanawimala) (කිරිඇල්ලේ ඤාණවිමල)
He studied well his primary education at Marapana Sri Shasthrodaya Pirivena.He got upasampada on 30th june 1928.
After his primary education he went to the Maligakanda Vidyodaya Pirivena to got his hight education. He became royal pandith after written saparagamuwe perani liyavili (සපරගමුවේ පැරණි ලියවිලි) book.
He had written many books in sinhala pali and sanskrit.He edited many tripitaka books and he started shastrodaya press. he published his books in shastrodaya press..
He was treated as an indigenous doctor free of charge. When he became 75 yers old he feld very sick and he dide on 29th august 1984
