My name is Joseph LaMar Buck. I was born on January 10th, 1986 to Felicia Renee Williams and James Allen Buck Sr. I was born in Hammond,IN at 10:05 A.M. I attended East Chicago Central High School and Hammond High School. I have set 5 school records in my high school career. I have the single season all purpose yardage amount my sophmore year at Hammond High with 1,707 passing yards, 989 rushing yards, 664 recieving yards, and 1,089 total return yards for a total of 4,449 all purpose yards. I also scored 15 passing touchdowns, 7 rushing touchdowns, 5 recieving touchdowns, and 5 return touchdowns for a total of 32 touchdowns. With those two being a school record. I also recorded 58 tackles and 6 sacks with 2 interceptions that year. I would have been playing for a great D-I school but 3 games into my Junior year I dislocated my shoulder twice and then tore my ACL,MCL,LCL, and meniscus. I came back my senior year but I was at a different school and I didnt have a chance to show my true talent and I was relegated to special teams duty and Junior Varsity games. I did set a county record with 17 varsity letters earned. I ran track for four years, played baseball for three with a record of 32-17 as a pitcher with 15 saves. I wrestled for a year and my record was 12-4. I played basketball for three years with my career averages being 13.1 ppg 2.3 spg 4.3 apg. My greatest game came my senior year it was the first time that I was really starting and I got to play against my cousin who was a top rated player in the state. I had my best game with a career high 29 points and he had 33 points. We lost but it was put in the paper as sibling rivalry. I was in the military after my senior year and after my eighth week of basic training I tore al the ligaments in my knee again. So I then got sent home without benefits. I was homeless for about four months andthen I met my future wife in 2005. Her name is Danielle Monique Snell. I have had alot of loves in my life but none like her. I would do anything for her if she asked me and I could do it. The only thing that I regret is not being able to show my determination and drive to a major college coach. All I dream of is a chance and that is all. If I can get a chance then I will make the most of it. Most people dream of making it I just dream of a chance to show a Bigtime college coach what I can do for he and his team. If I can get that chance then I can go on with the rest of my life.
