Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered is a 2020 first-person shooter developed by Beenox and published by Activision. It is a remaster of 2009's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, originally developed by Infinity Ward.

It was released on the PlayStation 4 in March 2020 and on the Xbox One and Microsoft Windows a month later.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered features the same core gameplay elements as the original version: it is a first-person shooter in which players control multiple characters. Unlike the original, the game only includes the campaign mode, excluding the multiplayer and Spec Ops modes from Modern Warfare 2.[1]

Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered was released on March 31, 2020 on the PlayStation 4.[2] The game is due to be released on April 30, 2020 for the Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. It was released a month earlier on the PlayStation 4 because of an exclusivity deal reached between Activision and Sony. Sony exclusivity and leaks

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: Campaign Remastered received "mixed or average reviews", for the PlayStation 4 version, according to review aggregator Metacritic.[3]
