Six seasons per year: which are

  1. Spring: Chaitramasam, Vaishakhamasam. - Trees sprout and flower
  2. Summer: Jestamasam, Ashadhamasam - The suns are mounds
  3. Monsoon: Shravanamasam, Bhadrapadamasam. - Rainfall is high.
  4. Autumn: Ashvayujamasam, Kartikamasam. - The moons are much brighter.
  5. Winter: Margashiramasam, Pusyamasam. - It's snowing, it's cold
  6. Fall: Maghamasam, Falgunamasam.- Trees shed their leaves.
