Early Life
[edit]Shantharam Shetty was born on 14th April 1942 to (late) Mrs Vishalakshi & Mr Tejappa Shetty. He has 2 brothers and 3 sisters. His early education began in a convent school and completed his college degree at St. Aloysius College Mangalore.[1]
He pursued his MBBS degree at the Government Medical College, Mysore, and passed out with honors in 1964. Subsequently, he joined the Delhi University in 1970 for his MS (Ortho) and became a full-fledged Fellow of the International College of Surgeons in 1975, and Fellow of International Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (FIAMS) in 1976.
