About Steve Tautz

Mr. Tautz received a B.S. in Structural Engineering and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1981. He is a member of several trade organizations and an active member of the Littleton Rotary Club.

Mr. Tautz co-founded Lat-Lon and serves as CFO but is also highly involved with web applications and product engineering. Mr. Tautz brings twenty years experience in finance, hardware / software development, project management, and marketing to Lat-Lon’s management team.

Previously, Mr. Tautz founded Evergreen New Media, a software development company, whose clients included Rand McNally. For Rand McNally, Evergreen developed the GPS software for the Trip Maker and Street Finder software products as well as the Palm Pilot support. Evergreen New Media also developed many database driven asp based web applications and web services for many manufacturing and distribution companies.

Prior to founding Evergreen New Media, Mr. Tautz worked as an engineering consultant for the Kellog Corporation and Demand Incorporated. In this capacity he assisted engineering and public utility companies to justify, specify and implement computer aided design and facilities mapping systems.
