Mijiddorjiin Namsray (born in the year of the rat in 1876-passed away in 1923) Erdene Jonon Van Namsray was a prominent figure in early 20th-century Mongolia, serving as the first member of the Government of Mongolia and the Prime Minister of the Ministry of Jurisdiction. Born as the eldest son of Prince Mijiddorji, Namsray hailed from the noble lineage of Genghis Khan.
In the summer of 1911, five nobles met in secret to establish independence. Among them were the Governor and the Prime Minister. This effort culminated in the founding of their cause on November 30, 1911. Namsray became one of the first seven members of the Mongolian Provisional Government established on November 30, 1911. Namsray, the Governor of Erdene Province in Tusheet Khan Province, played an active role in the National Liberation Revolution. He was promoted to the title of the Chief Minister of the Ministry of Justice. In 1919, he was honored with the title of double emperor.
Later, he served as one of the five deputy prime ministers when the People's Government was established in 1921.
