One of my favorite ways to keep up with websites and blogs is through Feedly. It's a great way to consolidate your most read websites into one place.
One thing I find useful about Wikipedia is the fact that you can look up your favorite TV show and see when a certain episode came out or when the next one is scheduled to air. One of my favorite shows is The Walking Dead. The page give you all the information about all of the seasons with descriptions of what happened in the season. It also lists dates, characters/actors and everything you would want to know about the TV series.
