X Runner was founded in 2009 as an endurance fun run where participants attempt a 5k or 10k running course with over sixty obstacles. The course challenges common human fears, such as claustrophobia, aqua-phobia, vertigo and fire. The event is based on teamwork and encourages group participation and general fitness. Competitors must commit to helping each other to complete the course, encouraging camaraderie to overcome personal limits.
