Library Bibliographic Classification (Russian: Библиотечно-Библиографическая Классификация), abbreviated as BBK or LBC, is a system of library classification developed in the Soviet Union in the 1960s to replace Universal Decimal Classification and various local schemes. It is the national classification system of the Russian Federation and is used by 95% of libraries there.[1]
