My name is Alex Stringer and I am a recent edition to the wikipedia editing community. I am currently studing for my GCSE's at Lutterworth College. With the ambition of joining the RAF as an officer after completing my A-Levels in English, Mathamatics and Physics.

Interests

My main areas of interest are; Military, Science and Sports. Although I do enjoy watching team sports such as football and rugby, I prefer to play sports which I refer to as Interlectual. Sports such as judo and cricket which involve much more brains than brawn.

Contributions

My first edit on wikipedia was a youtube link (which was promptly removed my the copyright "bot") on the TAR-21. Since my trail by fire I have tried to make one or two contributions per day. Many of my recent edits have been on CERN's page with most being on the recent LHC activities.

Tip of the moment... Mobile view sidebar from the desktop Click for larger view This gadget option (for Vector skin) shows the desktop page in a mobile view sidebar while browsing the desktop site. Enable this mobile view in your Gadgets section of your Preferences. Check the box for: Mobile sidebar preview - Show page in mobile view while browsing the desktop site, then scroll to bottom of page and save your changes. There is a Smartphone shaped icon located in the top bar of tabs. Press the Smartphone icon to toggle the mobile view on and off. The expanded screenshot here is highlighted with a red box and arrow for illustrative purposes. You can turn off the mobile view by pressing the white-X in the black button at the bottom of the Smartphone frame. The Smartphone frame includes its own scrollbar independent of the Desktop scrollbar.
