Edit this section to compile the bibliography for your Wikipedia assignment. Add the name and/or notes about what each source covers, then use the "Cite" button to generate the citation for that source.

Vane JR, Botting RM. The mechanism of action of aspirin. Thromb Res. 2003 Jun 15;110(5-6):255-8. doi: 10.1016/s0049-3848(03)00379-7. PMID: 14592543.

This is from a published research paper regarding the mechanism of aspirin, talks about the route of inhibition helpful for citing existing claims.

Warner, T. D., Nylander, S., & Whatling, C. (2011). Anti-platelet therapy: cyclo-oxygenase inhibition and the use of aspirin with particular regard to dual anti-platelet therapy. British journal of clinical pharmacology, 72(4), 619–633. https://doi.org/10.1111/j.1365-2125.2011.03943.x

This is also an article published in the National Library of Medicine this citation supports the claim that aspirin inreveribly inhibits the enzyme it targets.

Outline of proposed changes

[edit]

I plan on improving this article by incorporating sources to support the claims made, I will also reword some sentences in order to improve the flow and clarity of the article. Majority of the content is there already, although it lacks sources and references backing up the claims.
