Kevin Henderson is a fiddle player from Lerwick, Shetland
He began playing at nine and was a pupil of the Willie Hunter. Aged eleven took the title of Shetland's Young Fiddler of the Year in the intermediate section of the competition.[1]
Kevin is a member of bands including Fiddlers' Bid, Session A9 and Boys of the Lough[2] where he replaced fellow Shetland fiddler Aly Bain.
He is also an experienced teacher and has tutored at events including Ethno Camp in Sweden[3], Shetland Fiddle Frenzy[4]and Nordic Tone[5], part of the Shetland Folk Festival.
