Linden is a pop rock band that hails from Menomonie, Wisconsin. Known for their catchy, hooky riffs, the band was started by some friends and went through many line-up changes before becoming a Myspace hit, with over a half million plays. Although currently unsigned, they rapidly rose onto the "Top Unsigned" list of TheDailyChorus.com. [1]
The band began with sisters Kara and Casi Carlson recording their debut EP, "The Future Is..." with producer Jordan Schmidt (All Time Low, Jamestown Story, The Morning Light).[2] Upon the EP's completion, the duo immediately began searching for band members to fill out the sound. Through months of auditions and member tryouts, the line-up was finalized in late spring of 2008, drawing on musicians from across the country, with bassist Steven Keller (WI), guitarist Aaron Wesselman (VA), and drummer Billy Toti (HI) finalizing the lineup.
Drawing from influences such as Jimmy Eat World, and The Rocket Summer, they have also been compared with Paramore. The band makes a point to establish a strong relationship with their fans, inviting people to hang out after the show.
