Khajalpura[edit]

               Khajalpura is a village which is located in the east and 30 kms away from Jaipur. This village falls in Chaksu tehsil administratively and comes in Dausa district for election procedures. Total population of the village is around 2000 out of which 200 are govt. employees. Khajalpura is among the top villages in terms of education in chaksu.

History

       khajalpura is created by Balots(a Gotra in Meena community) by defeating Muslims.In Muslim's reign this village was known as Khadrabad. 90% of the population is Meena community and rest are - Brhaman,Koli,Khati,Bhangi,Kumhar etc. In the past time agriculture was the main occupation of most of the villagers but in recent years due to decrease in water level and lesser rain almost all the wells gone dry and so does the occupation. Khajalpura is divided into four Thogs- Dabar,Badi Guwadi,Rupawali,Susawat.
 
   

Thogs are a kind of tradition in Meena villages and can be commonly found. This village also has it's own judiciary system under which Patels of village give decision on various cases and most of the cases solved inside this system, although the level of judgement is now decreasing because of party formation inside the thogs and easy bribing of patels.

There is a government school of secondary level in the village but people send their children in private schools. In the academic session 2012-2013 the enrollment of the school is nearly 350. The enrollment is increasing per year because of the awareness of girl education in people.

Transportation :-

                A road passes through the village which connects it to the main city Jaipur. Govt. bus(RSRTC) no.210 is the main source of public transportation which goes through Padampura, Shivdaspura,Sanganer to Jaipur.Some other private vehicle also used as public trasportation.

Temples:-

        There are 8 temples in the village built by villagers. MAIN Temple in this Village  Name Shree Ram Janki Maharaj Khajalpura . Elder people and religious people go to these temple for worship and to meet their friends as this is the best place to meet people. In the month of Kartik the environment becomes quite fascinating because the girls from the village comes to the temples in the morning and evening and do some Bhajan- kirtan. These temples are the legacy for all the villagers and they give every possible contribution to the construction or reconstrution of the temples.
