Reductio ad lambchop: dog Latin for "reduction (or argument) to sheep. (or sheeple)" – is a modern informal fallacy in logic. The name is a pun on reductio ad hitlerum. It is a variety of both questionable cause and association fallacy. The phrase reductio ad lambchop was coined by the Shroomery user Crasher in 2008.

The fallacy is similar to an ad Hominem attack in that the accuser calls another person a sheep, in the sense that the person is only capable of following what he/she knows and cannot use critical thinking. It is commonly used in arguments regarding Conspiracy_theories. Instead of concentrating on the content of an argument, the accuser will simply diffuse any dialog by once again claiming "you're a sheep" or even go as far as "bah."
