Ahem. Not entirely sure what I'm supposed to do with this space.

I'm a real person living in the wilds of the Rockies in the United States. Okay, in a resort town in the wilds of the Rockies in the United States. I'm here for the skiing. Also the local culture. I like the frank honesty and no-nonsense attitudes. At least among the local and long-time residents.

Gainfully employed

I am self-employed, but I haven't always been. I used to work for The Man. Now I set my own hours and personally feel the pinch when the sales department (me) hasn't drummed up enough business, or when the writing or design departments (me) have let a deadline slide.

I write for video games and other interactive narrative schemes. I also consult on various Internet-related projects and donate time to the International Game Developers Association.

Pet owner

I share my house with two dogs and a cat. Designer pets all. Duchess is a minpin. Duke is a pocketpin. Ping is a cross between a siamese and an orange tabby. He's a marmalade marvel.
