Sushank’s Visual Art Workshop is all about visual application with various medium to Understand Self (EMOTIONS). As we understand self through emotions, the workshop is designed for the participants to create their own composition to meet and connect with the self. These workshops are meant for group of students, professionals, housewives and grand parents to bring a sense of creativity in them. At present juncture of our busy lives where our targets are either self-imposed or by our seniors, we tend to oversee minute aspects of pleasure and enthusiasm for life. These workshops aims at bringing our creative SELF back to life connect with our core being and also with our surrounding where we chose to live or work in. This in turn creates a substantial and content attitude towards ones own personal and professional life. These workshops are designed to create space for an individual to re-discover and elevate self. The participants go through suggested medium, creating their own composition and guided with the aspects of that medium. This process includes basic understanding about composition, paint and concepts of visual imagination and creation. No mastery or any previous experience is required. These workshops can be concluded as exhibition of the outcome.
Sushank is a professionally trained Artist and Facilitator. Besides having several exhibitions of his art work he is conducting visual art workshop since past several years. He is accomplished Sculptor, painter, photographer, singer and poet. He was selected twice for National art exhibition and exhibited his works at National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai, Alliance Françoise, National gallery and museum Chandigarh, Travancore Palace. He has been also part of several art festivals like Gandhi Kala Mela & Sahityotsava by Gandhi Smriti Darshan Samiti, Rajghat, Yuva-Mahotsava by Sahitya Kala Parishad, Kalam-festival JMI, and Punjab-Festival and for various universities. He was invited for national and international art camps and projects for his public installations. He has been Felicitated by Chairman and Secretary (Sh. Vineet-Joshi) Of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for mural Titled “VIDYA DADATI VINAYAM” 08 unveiled by Sh. S. C. Khuntia, Jnt. Sect., and Deptt. of School of Education & Literacy, ministry of HRD, Govt.of India. He is a Visioning & Creativity facilitator and a Neuro Linguistic Programming practitioner. Worked with Delhi college of Art, IILM Design School, IIT mech. Dept., Delhi, Gurgaon Valley School, managed by Learn Today part of India Today, Panchatantra Montessori, Salwan Public School, The Heritage School, Banyan Tree School, Ahlcon International School, Bal Bhawan Kendra amongst others. His collections are into prestigious institutions like State Council of Educational Research & Training Patna, Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti, New Delhi, Patiala contemporary art museum, NZCC, HRD min. Punjab, Buddha-Enlightened 2-be, “RAM-NAM SATYA HAI”… Bihar, Kala- Gram, Chandigarh.
