History[edit]
TV touring was one of the first private regional television broadcasters in Bavaria. The television station was founded in 1987 and started broadcasting in February 1988 in Würzburg. In 1990 they also expanded to a new location in Schweinfurt. Since 2006 they have started uploading to their website www.tvmainfranken.de and eventually also founded a new advertising agency (mainfranken media). In December 2017 they changed their name to TV Mainfranken.
Program[edit]
In a 30 minute news broadcast (Mainfranken aktuell) they present recent news related to the region and in their so-called special interests program they talk about information related to sports, people, health, news and economy often showcasing the effect to the region.

Rewards[edit]
By 2010 TV touring was awarded for eight of their contributions by the Bavarian Agency for New Media.
