I am Traci Neilsen, a physics professor at Brigham Young University who does research in underwater acoustics. At a recent meeting of the Acoustical Society of America, I was introduced to wikiedu. I am going to use wikiedu this semester (2020) in my Advanced Technical Communications class. The 30 students are each writing a senior thesis (30-50 pages) on their research project. I am interested to see if they can collaborate with a classmate doing similar research to add to wikipedia pages in their area: check readability, upload graphics, insert more references, etc. We'll see how it goes.
