From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Cougar Network is a non-profit, non-political, scientific foundation. Its purpose is supporting research on cougars in general, but in particular, the tracking of ongoing spread of North American cougars from the Western US into Eastern regions where they were formerly extirpated. The foundation provides grants. It operates a magazine called big cat. It also maintains a database of all confirmed Eastern cougar sightings, with strict criteria, the Big Picture map.
