Yes . . . TDurden1937, my user name, refers to Tyler Durden, one of the characters in "Fight Club." Directed by David Fincher, it stars Brad Pitt as Tyler Durden, the split personality of the narrator of the film who is played by Edward Norton . . . who's name in the film is unknown.

The numbers 1937, connects with Paper Street, the street where the house Tyler and Rupurt (one of the names mentioned for him) live in is located. Remember that sulfur smell? Subsequently, I re-watched the film and noted that the actual numeric designation is 537, but since I've used TDurden1937 for several years, changing it would amount to a good deal of trouble I'm not willing to deal with right now.

I do not consult a denomination when studying Christianity, but study the ministry of Christ, so I don't identify with a denomination.

I believe in making choices . . . hopefully the right ones, and in seeking to glorify God.

I compulsively play computer games . . . always fighting on the side of Good against the forces of Evil.

I read a lot of books on mainly history . . . especially military history.

I have a great wife, and a wonderful son.

I accepted Jesus as savior when I was about 15 years old after listening to a Southern Baptist revivalist preacher speak for about a week. Who can withstand that? So I guess one could say I am a Southern Baptist . . . oh oh.

I am an ardent supporter of the Scientific Method. I have no problem integrating science into my belief systems. I am rather miffed at the Creationists and Evolutionists for taking dogmatic attitude in the evaluation of the evidence of the Origin of the Species. Both sides seem equally stupid too often for my taste.
