Antonio Mutt, also known as "'Savagetone or BabyFace Savage', (born May 4, 1965) is a Puerto Rican/Italian former boxer who made a Brief but known Mark by becoming the first Middleweight to win 19 unanswered fights in NYC Daily News Golden Gloves Event at Madison Square Garden Subsequently, he only lasted till his own demise in a rematched fight to former champion Leon De Marcus who Antonio KO' De Marcus in a First round KO' two years prior in a match. how ironic is that it would be the last we hear of Antonio in the Boxing Arena in General .

Antonio Mutt a native of Mayaguez , Puerto Rico, Won His first Golden Glove title at the age of 18 years of age , when he faced off with Golden Glove champion Leon De Marcus on November 25, 1983, at the undercard of Julian Darbey and Roberto Johnsons second fight in Madison Square Garden . Tony Mutt , KO ; de Leon in the First round of 5 that were sceduled. After he knocked out De Leon , becoming the second Puerto Rican to share the Golden glove title in the same division at the same time, after Alfredo Escalera and Samuel Serrano had achieved the feat in the 1970s at Jr. Light weight. Fighters would state that Antonio Punches were Savage and brutal giving him the name he rightfully earned as SAVAGETONE aka BabyFace Savage .when interviewed after the fight De leon stated that he felt as if Antonio had stones in his gloves and that every punch hurt like no other punches he had ever received .After interviewing other fighters all the remarks seem to be the same earning Antonio his right to SAVAGETONE. Antonio lost his title in a shocking upset to former Champ De leon by a knockout in the 1st.round at the Garden in 1986, and never came back. After that, he and Tony Coster trained for several Months and Antonio was lost to the Boxing names as great lost Fighters of the 80s .
He defended his title against Eddie Stone Rejos by a knockout in four at the Garden , He made a couple of non Title fights and decided he wouldn't go Professional at anytime. He went unheard of till the later 1988 where he was involved in a large Auto Car theft Ring in New York City and was convicted to 5 years in a federal institution in Atlanta Penitentiary for Racketeering in organized Crime ,he was then released in 1992 to a halfway house in New York City to serve out the remainder of his time , Antonio then fell out of site and kept his personal life and goals from the Boxing world . If i could take anything from knowing Baby Face Savage it would be that Boxers in general such as Tony only come by a few times in history and i was proud to state that i stood by his side even if his glory was short lived in boxing History .
