Thomas White International is an investment management firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, United States. It serves a diversified group of corporations, governments, financial institutions, and individuals. According to the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company reported in excess of USD $ 2 billion[1] as assets under its management. The firm was founded in 1992 by Thomas S. White Jr. , a former Managing Director of Morgan Stanley[2]. While at Morgan Stanley, Thomas S. White, Jr. developed a close working relationship with Sir John Templeton, who was Thomas White International’s first equity research client[3]. The firm’s analysts use proprietary methods to develop monthly valuations for more than 4000 global equities in over 40 markets. The firm manages two mutual funds, the Thomas White International Fund (TWWDX)[4], Thomas White Emerging Markets Fund (TWEMX) and the Thomas White American Opportunities Fund (TWAOX)[5].
