University of Georgia's Microbiology Department

The Microbiology Department at The University of Georgia was formed in 1953.[1] The department is headed by Dr. William B. Whitman. The assistant department head and undergraduate coordinator is Dr. Timothy R. Hoover. The graduate coordinator is Dr. Anna Karls.[2] The department currently has 18 faculty members, 45 graduate students, and about 180 undergraduate students.[3][4][5]
