The elders from Komatke Village, Gila River Indian Community, District 6, gave him the name Eagleboy during his baby shower. On his mother's side, culturally they come from the Buzzard Eagle Clan of the Akimel Au-authm, the Coyote Clan of the Tohono O'odham.

Gloria and Terrance Sr. wanted to follow proper protocol of the Ts'msyen and have all the children adopted the same time. Later Terrance followed Ts'msyen protocol and went back to his great great grandfather Adolphus Calvert Laxgyibuu (Wolf Clan) and was adopted under his clan.
