Introduction

Hello, I'm Ky. Im currently in my 5th year at the University of Guelph pursuing my BSc in biology with a minor in Nutritional Sciences. I've enjoyed my degree thus far but am excited to almost be finished.

Personal Life

I was born in Callander, Ontario, a small town just outside of North Bay, where the Dionne Quints were born! . I recently just got back from a vacation to Cuba which was a lot of fun. I've also traveled to 6 different places in Europe in the past which is a continent I recommend that everyone should visit.

I'm also a very busy individual. Working full time while taking two summer courses and travelling to St.Catharines and North bay on my free time. Being a person that gets bored very easily, I need to keep busy to keep my mind occupied. Furthermore, when I was 15 I went on the show Canadian Idol where they let me sing but told me I was too young (age limit was 16 at the time) and to come back the year after - which I never ended up getting around to doing.

Education and Academic Career

I attended Chippewa Secondary School in North Bay for highschool where I was a very involved student and was elected to the title of social convenor on student council. I then came to the University of Guelph to pursue a degree in science in hopes of eventually becoming an Orthodontist. After being here for 4 years I finally decided to change my orthodontic aspirations and plan to attend the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine next year in hopes of becoming a Naturopathic doctor.

Hobbies

I love to do the following:

• sing
• play piano
• running
• reading
• relaxing at my cottage

Sports

I also play in a number of summer sports leagues in Guelph:

1. co-ed soccer
2. co-ed beach volleyball
3. slow pitch baseball
