Companies JAMfest Owns

[edit]

Since JAMfest has been such a successful company the past fifteen years, many smaller companies have sold their company to become part of JAMbrands. [1] JAMfest is the owner of six cheerleading companies, not including JAMfest itself. JAMlive [2] is a cheer and dance company started by JAMfest as more of a Hollywood feel at the competition, where the athletes walk down a red carpet to the stage instead of coming out from behind a curtain. The other companies JAMfest owns are:
1. Cheerleaders of America (COA) Cheer and Dance [3]
2. America's Best Championships [4]
3. Coastal Cheer and Dance Corporation[5]
4. GAME DAY[6]
5. Great Lakes Cheerleading Company[7]

JAMfest Competitors

[edit]

JAMfest is a highly recognized company in the cheerleading world. However, other cheerleading companies are competition to JAMfest during the season. Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA)[8] is a large cheer and dance company that holds competitions that are almost as popular as JAMfest competitions. National Cheerleading Association (NCA)[9] is another cheer and dance company that is competitive to JAMfest. NCA holds a large competition in Dallas, Texas every year called NCA Nationals. This is almost as popular as JAMfest SuperNationals that is held in Indianapolis, Indiana annually. JAMfests biggest rival is Cheersport.[10] Cheersport is a very popular company that holds one of the most major cheerleading competitions. Cheersport Nationals held in Atlanta, Georgia. More that 850 teams attended Cheersport Nationals in 2010, and this is very close to the attendance at JAMfest SuperNationals.

Worlds Teams

[edit]

JAMfest has sent many teams to The Cheerleading Worlds[11] in the past. Cheerleading Worlds is the biggest competition for an all-star cheerleader, but only level five and six athletes attend. Level five and six are the highest levels of cheerleading. In order to attend Worlds, a team must get an invite from a company, also known as a Worlds bid. This bid is the invite from a company for a team to represent them at Cheerleading Worlds in Orlando, Florida. SuperNationals is the biggest competition that JAMfest holds to give out Worlds Bids.
In 2010, JAMfest Supernationals gave bids to[12]:
