Syed Muhammed Umar Aamir Kaleemi Shah was a renowned 19th century, Muslim Sufi, Wali,Mystic, Orator, Faqeeh, Theologian, Mujaddid and highly acclaimed Islamic scholar of the Qadri, Chisti order from the Indian sub continent. He was the 28th grand son of Ghousul Azam Sheikh Mohiyudheen Abdul Qadir Jilani. He was the student (murid) of the renowned Sufi saint Sheikh Noori ShahNoori Shah whose spiritual master's lineage goes to Ghousi Shah, Machiliwale Shah, Mahmoodullah Shah and connects to Bande Nawaz ,Nasiruddin Chiragh Dehlavi, Nizamuddin Auliya. Finally he received the calaphate from his Sheikh Noori Shah.

His Silsila "Silsila-e-Aamiria is spread all over the world, morethan 25lakhs people has taken bayath on his hand. He is the founder of "Al Jamiyatul Aamiriyatul Kaleemiya" Arabi madrasa & Arabic college located in GGA (Gulzar-E-Ghouse-E-Azam) Pannur, near Chennai.
