Hello,

I'm TheWeeklyIslander. My name was inspired by The Colorado Kid by Stephen King, where there is a fictitious newspaper called The Weekly Islander. Contrary to the name, I have been on very few islands in my life, let alone weekly.

If you are on my page, it is likely due to an update I made to the demographic section of an American place (city, town, CDP, village, etc.).

I tend to focus on one state at a time, primarily on places that have at least a population of 50 or greater, and tend to edit places in alphabetical order. I have no issues editing smaller places, if requested; it's merely whether there was enough data to keep my code from stopping due to NaN values or other issues. I do not edit states in alphabetical order, but at random. I started with Kansas and I will likely move on to Wyoming after.

If you notice that I have missed a place in the state that I am working on or have worked on in the past, please let me know and I would be happy to update it. There are over 30,000 places in the United States, so this will be a long-term project.

I have a greater than full-time career, so I will update sporadically.
