The The Liquid Psychologist an epic story of an old Irish farmer, Seamus O'Reilly, who lived his whole life on a rustic, secluded farm with his Wife of over sixty years, in the remote hills of Galway Ireland.

He made his living my selling his homemade cheese and butter to the local markets, and by selling his famous moonshine to the local Pubs. One day, Seamus came home from working in the fields to find his beloved Wife dead on the floor. His life was suddenly changed forever. He was devastated. His grief and mourning grew worse and worse over the weeks to come. All alone, and completely empty inside, he was coming to the realization that he was destined to just rot away, all alone in his cottage, for the rest of his days, with nothing there to make him happy anymore. Until one day, while staring at the wall in a deep depression, he notices a post card tacked to the wall. It was from his niece Bridget from Dublin, who had taken a student trip to Los Angeles in America. The post card was from Hollywood. In the picture on the card, he saw a brightly lit avenue filled with fancy pubs and establishments, with busy streets filled with traffic and people. He had a revelation. He knew then that there was so much more in the world to see, and he had seen nothing but the Irish countryside, all his days. He now knew that he needed at least one great adventure to happen in his life, and now was the time to act on it. So Seamus sold everything! He sold his sheep, his cows, his home and farm, and packed up his old suitcase with his simplest possessions, and bought a plane ticket for Hollywood. See, Seamus thought that he could make his living by selling his moonshine to the bars and nightclubs in Hollywood, much like he is use to doing in the rural country pubs of Ireland.

Not only is he dumb to the ways of Liquor Laws, but he is also clueless to everything of a modern society. A true, "Fish Out Of Water". When he arrives at LAX Airport he is truly in culture shock. He had no plan, because Seamus fully believed that a true adventure happens to you when you have no plans at all. His first priority was to find a good pub to call home and to start selling his whiskey to. After a few dangerous run-ins in Gangland, and other parts of the city, he finally finds his way to Ireland's 32 Irish Pub in Van Nuys, CA, where his adventure truly begins. By chance, Seamus ends up meeting a famous movie star named Michael O'Reilly, who not only shares the same last name, but he also becomes intrigued with the old mans situation and story.

He feels like he needs to help Seamus, especially since they are distant kin. He invites Seamus to live in the guest house on his estate, and in return Seamus would take over the landscaping and gardening duties of the vast property. Seamus sets up his still in the yard of the estate, and goes off to Sunset Blvd to try and start distributing his homemade whiskey. He sets of on a funny, charming, heartwarming adventure where he slowly becomes a Hollywood Urban Legend forever.
