My fingers moved
Deliberately, Deftly, Decisively
Dictating my thought.
The striking of the keys echoed
Through the room
Spreading like a flood
Upon the dry plains
A wasteland, devoid.
The letters appeared
Like the writing on the wall
Then Firefox as my Daniel interprets them for me

Asking, for me to enter my query.
I review the results, searching
Like a little boy at Ellis Island
Searching the records for an entry of his great-great-grandfather.
The familiar line meets my eyes
I click enter, through an unknown door.
The completion of a journey, the destination
Being so much more than I ever imagined.
