The SAP is one of the founder members of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and our members are registered either with the BPC or the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), through the Confederation of Analytical Psychologists. All are also members of the International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP). In-depth training and personal analysis The Society of Analytical Psychology was founded in 1946 with the aim of developing the ideas of C.G. Jung, providing a rigorous training in analytical psychology, and analysis and therapy to adults, children and adolescents. It has become the foremost training institute in Jungian analysis and psychotherapy, integrating Jungian and post-Jungian developments with those of psychoanalysis.
