Chris Pearson

Overview

Originally discovered at Camp Sheppard (the best camp ever as it is known) Chris Pearson was a great man. He was a head cook, but it was more than that. He founded Team Pearson, and was the Leader of the controversial "No Stomach Left Behind" Act of 2004. "Chris is a man who firmly believed in what he was doing." a fellow staff member was heard saying one crisp winter morning. He worked up at Sheppard for quite a while. He was always there to teach people less experienced then he. Whether it was window washing or "Pleasing your woman," Mr. Pearson always had helpful insight. A young staff member one day was having trouble making oatmeal, and Mr. Pearson noticed that he was stirring the oatmeal to gently and was quoted to say "the oatmeal isn't a lady you don't have to treat it nicely."

The No Stomach Left Behind act

Mr. Pearson began a program he thought up back in 2004. The "No Stomach Left Behind Act," as it would become known. Mr. Pearson noticed that some children would not become full when others would. He realized that standard servings don't work because people don't all fit a standard. He decided to make the standard servings slightly smaller, but allow the children to take as many as they wanted. If they failed to achieve fullness the first time they could take the serving again and again. Many people loved this idea, however there were some who dislike the idea they said that it made the children who were full the first time bored of waiting for everyone to catch up. There are some who say that this controversy may have been what cost Mr. Pearson his job.

Team Pearson

Team Pearson Team Pearson was an Elite Group of Men and women founded by Chris Pearson. They were the Navy Seals of kitchen staff. They could do any job and get it done fast. Team Pearson was a small group of people who gained recognition for their successful operations. Team Pearson is quickly growing. It is predicted that by the year 2009 every state will have a separate and self-sustaining cell of Team Pearson operatives working within its borders.
