Mercedes Channel Young (Born July 16, 1991) is an American actress and former model. She is best know for her role in the upcoming horror film 2 Headed Shark Attack starring alongside Carmen Electra, Charlie O'Connell, and Brooke Hogan.
Early Life
[edit]Young was born in Miramar, FL, the daughter of Vernidean Young and Willie Young. She is a devout Christian who credits all of her achievements to God. Young has always been involved in the arts from modeling, to stage plays, to music videos, and now movies. She has been attending arts schools since elementary. However, A.W. Dreyfoos High School of the Arts is where she really learned to hone her craft.
Career
[edit]Mercedes graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a degree in Telecommunications, a specialization in management, a concentration business, and a minor in theatre.
Not only is Mercedes an actress but she is also a business owner. Mercedes developed an website/app called WeShair.com which allows you to locate a barber or hairstylist based off of the GPS location on your phone. This app allows you to see the the stylist's work, ratings, and reviews before you book them and sit in their chair.
