Julie Mayer is a British radio presenter who can currently be heard on BBC Radio Leicester. She is most notable for presenting shows alongside her husband, Tony Wadsworth.
She has worked on both BBC Radio Leicester and BBC Radio WM with Wadsworth, and together on the regional Late Show won recognition including an award of distinction for the 'promotion of cancer research', the Telstar award from the Planetary Society for the 'promotion of space science' and a special mention in the Queen Mother's Birthday Awards for an anti-litter campaign. Mayer also contributed to BBC programmes such as Children in Need and the reality TV series: The Heat is On.
