Cambridge On Ice is a Cambridge based which operated the first ever outdoor ice rink in Cambridge on Parkers Piece, central Cambridge.[1][2] The rink first opened on November 24 and remained open every day (excluding Christmas Day) until 6th January 2008.[3] During this time the rink attracted 38,000 visitors. [4] The CEO of Cambridge On Ice is Lizzy Dickinson.[3] Cambridge On Ice hope to open the rink again next year.[4] The sucess of the rink boosts plans for a permanant ice for the city on which the Cambridge University ice hockey team could play.[4]
