Oppression.
[edit]Lead
[edit]The difference between the oppressor and the oppressed is to analyze ourselves as the oppressor and the oppressed, we have to know and understand the categories which we fall under. Privilege and oppression are two concepts that are linked because oppression would be the mistreatment of a group of people who hold less privilege. So in other words privilege breeds oppression by those who have it use to maintain power and advantage. Privilege would be a concept that is important when looking at oppression, in most cases privilege exists when one group has something of value that is denied to others simply because of the group they belong to, rather than because of anything they've done or failed to do.
Also understanding the similarities and differences among the forms of oppression we experience is very important. Each form of oppression can be different and also be interconnected, by acknowledging ways in which racism, sexism, ableism affect the society.
