Usage

Use {{User:Tinlinkin/NYCS | [service letter/number (optional)] }} to add this to your userpage.

You may use the optional parameter for New York City Subway service numbers or letters. Use "S" for the shuttles. An example using A:
{{User:Tinlinkin/NYCS|A}}

AThis user takes the A train of the New York City Subway.

Note about bullets

When I designed this userbox, I purposefully avoided the use of subway bullets because I have a suspicion that they are not public domain, as Wikipedia and the Wikimedia project claims. See the MTA's developers' resources page, which states:

“ Want to use our logos, maps, or symbols?

Use of our intellectual property requires a license. [a link is provided on the page] We've put together a simple, easy-to-understand developer package for licensing our identity for use in your project.

Why aren't our logos and symbols free for use?

The MTA protects its brand identity and intellectual property on behalf of the public. Revenues generated from licensing go back into our budget, helping provide services for our customers. If an MTA-approved mobile application is provided to the public free of charge, the MTA requires a license but will not charge a license fee for the use of our intellectual property.

For this reason, I refuse to use the bullets in this userbox template.
