I received a Ph. D. in High Energy Physics in 1975 from the University of Illinois, Urbana, IL. I have extensive experience in elementary particle physics, electronics design and construction, software development, digital signal processing, user interface design, and related technologies. At present I am a Research Professor in the Physics Department of the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL.

I am also a cyclist (>2000 miles/year) and musician (composing and arranging songs, piano performance, and accompanying soloists and choruses).
