Tomaso Veneroso was born in Udine, Italy on May 15, 1974. He began his college education in Statistics and Actuarial Sciences at the Università degli Studi of Trieste, Italy, continued his college education in the United States, where he graduated in “Accounting Auditing and Taxes” at the Long Island University (C.W. Post Campus) and he successfully earned a Master degree in International Economics at the Columbia University ( School of International and Public Affairs).

At the same time he completed two one-year specialization courses in Financial Modeling at the New York Institute of Finance and in logistics management (Logistic and Chain Supply Management) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston.

In 1996 he begins his professional career at the Fonderie Acciaierie Rojale “FAR Spa” in Reana del Rojale (Italy), a leading company in the production of spare parts for the mining industry, where he begins his working experience and during the first three years he performs various jobs in the production plants (in particular as smelter operator) and in the technical laboratory. In September 1999, for the same company, he is in charge of marketing development in the USA, and therefore he moves to the United States, where for three years he promotes overseas the products of FAR SpA , wear-resistant parts for crushing machines. In 2001 he’s offered the CEO position at Am Cast Inc, an American company specialized in spare parts for the mining industry; he accepts the position and in the same year he is appointed President by the Board of Directors of Am Cast Inc. Armed with the desire to transmit the value of Italian entrepreneurship and of “Made in Italy” in the world, in 2001 he participates as funding partner to the incorporation of the Confederazione degli Imprenditori Italiani nel Mondo (Confederation of Italian entrepreneurs worldwide), a projects he strongly believes in and that he follows with care and commitment. In 2006 he is elected President of the Confederation of Italian Entrepreneurs Worldwide for the USA “CIIM.US” (www.ciim.us). After accepting enthusiastically the office of President, he immediately works to create a Board of Directors to implement efficiently and with dedication the business purposes. For this reason he involves in this mission some reputable Italian professionals living and working in New York, in particular Mr. Marco Casella (Vice President of CIIM.US); Mr. Francesco de Leo (President CIIM Washington DC and Vice President CIIM.US); Mr. Andrea Volpe (Board of Advisor CIIM. US) and Mr. Luigi Perin (Board of Advisor CIIM. US).

All the members of the Board of Directors of CIIM US, driven by an ambitious innovation program, cooperate with their professions to create an efficient communication and development instrument for the association, the website CIIM.US, an elaborate technological project (65,000 lines of software programming) prepared by Mr. De Leo. The CIIM.US website looks like a virtual community for its users, in which entrepreneurs and managers associated with CIIM.US publish informative material on their companies and job offers, conclude contracts with the subscribing companies, creating and seizing actual business opportunities. The CIIM.US website also offers its members continuous updates through the publication of careully selected press releases on economy and business and of all institutional events organized by or attended by the CIIM officers. Finally, the website keeps its members informed on meetings organized by CIIM for entrepreneurs and managers on tax, corporate and business organization topics. The CIIM phenomenon, started with this incredible energy in its New York office, and quickly spread all over the US. In particular, chapters in San Francisco and Cleveland were opened, on the initiative of Mr. Claudio Tarchi and Mr. Ezio Listati respectively. In 2007 the newly incorporated San Francisco (California) and Cleveland (Ohio) chapters become operational and promote several local initiatives. In particular, CIIM San Francisco is very active in promoting the cooperation between Italian companies and scientific research (Stanford University on Nanotechnology) and the Cleveland Chapter starts important cooperation relations with the State of Ohio and the city of Cleveland to implement a real “business system” (infrastructure, labor, etc.) to benefit Italian companies interested in creating distribution and production infrastructures in the USA. In 2007 CIIM.US starts a series of initiatives to have Italian businesses meet with their US counterparts, implementing the so-called business to business. The CIIM.US phenomen arrives then in Italy, where very important associations such as Confederazione della Piccola e Media Industria Privata Italiana “CONFAPI” (Confederation of Small and Medium Italian Private Businesses) understanding the vitality of this young organization, start a cooperation project and enter in some agreements with CIIM.US for the internationalization of the businesses in the USA. Following this “business to business” philosophy, Tomaso, already a member of the National Small Business Association "NSBA" and also a member of its Tax Revision Committee, begins working to build new agreements and cooperation between CIIM.US and NSBA, in order to introduce and start a dialog between businesses of the “Made in Italy” industries and the universe of USA businesses. Both parties prove to be open minded and interested: a delegation of American entrepreneurs from NSBA attends the event organized by CIIM.US at the Italian Embassy in Washington DC on 12 May 2008 on the subject “The Impact of Globalization on the Italian Business Sector”; among the key note speakers Ms. Carbognani (Internal Affairs Manager Confapi) and Mr. Arrigo Sadun (International Monetary Fund). After this important event in Washington, Confapi appoints Tomaso Veneroso as his contact person for North America. In the month of September 2008, CIIM.US is honored to meet the Ministry for Foreign Affair the Honourable Franco Frattini at a meeting in NYC with the Young Entrepreneurs community CIIM.US and the members of Nova and Alumni Bocconi. Approximately 100 people attended the event, among them the Ambassador of Italy to the United States Giovanni Castellaneta, the Consul General of Italy in New York Francesco Maria Talo’, the Senator of the Italian Republic Barbara Contini and the Honourable Amato Berardi . The Board of Directors of CIIM.US and his President promote an awareness campaign for the world of industry on environmental issues: in November 2008 CIIM.US attends the conference “Go Green" in Washington DC taking part in a roundtable discussion on “Green Economy”.
