I have joined wiki to help update subjects I know about, as well as build a presence on wiki with the media surrounding my own projects. I have always enjoyed the resource and its exciting to finally get involved. I am aware that when I work on my own articles that I'm in conflict of interest. And that I intend to use best practices for editing on wikipedia. I'm looking forward to others adding to these entries.
